DIRC's mission
The Diversity Initiatives and Resource Centers (DIRC) at Cal State Fullerton provides inclusive spaces that foster a sense of belonging for students of diverse identities and champion student success across campus. DIRC lives out this mission by:
- Empowering students to succeed and thrive academically, personally, professionally, and in their identity development through education and engagement.
- Celebrating the accomplishments, cultural wealth, and lived experiences of our diverse student communities.
- Developing institutional capacity for equity-mindedness to advance holistic student success.
DIRC's VISION
DIRC will serve as the model in providing culturally relevant and proactive initiatives to meet student needs, eliminate gaps in outcomes, and catalyze an equity-minded campus community.
OUR CENTERS
DIRC is home to eight identity-based resource centers. Each center offers students an inclusive space to be their authentic selves, co-curricular engagement opportunities for students to develop deeper understanding of their identities and those of others, as well as resources to support their academic and personal success. Students of all identities are welcome in all of our spaces.
